FAQ's

1. How do I join CASHA?

    A: Click here to go to the membership page. On that page, you will find the membership form.  Print 

        the form and fill it out.  Mail the form and payment to Karen Klouse, or pay via PayPal. 

2. How do I join NYSSLHA?

​    A: National NSSLHA membership dues are $60.  Membership opens each September and lasts         

​        through December of the membership year you pay for.

3. How many CEUs do I need for ASHA certification?

    A: Thirty hours or 3.0 ASHA CEUs in a 36-month cycle.

4. How many hours for NY state?

    A: 30 hours. At least 20 hours must be completed in a "professional" area, and the remainder may            be in a "related area."

5. How many ethics hours do I need?

    A: At least 1 hour must be in the area of ethics.
