CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
CASHA's Annual Graduate Scholarship Program
This Scholarship is awarded to a
Capital Region county resident who is a current member of CASHA, and who is
enrolled in a graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or
Communication Sciences and Disorders program, whether or not they are attending
a New York State or out-of-state college or university.
CASHA Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- All applicants must be members of CASHA. Membership applications and instructions
can be downloaded from the CASHA website, at www.cashany.org .
- Applicants must be residents of Albany, Columbia,
Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren ,
or Washington Counties.
- Individuals must be enrolled or plan to be enrolled in
full time graduate study in the field of speech-language pathology or
audiology in 2010.
- Awards of up to $500. are available in order to provide
financial assistance to deserving individuals.
- Essay Portion: In essay format, using no more than 300
words. Explain why you would like to pursue a career in speech-language
pathology or audiology. What life experiences have prepared you to work in
this field? Essays should be typewritten.
- Applications must be received by April 30, 2010.
